TPG: Spring 2014 Makeup: Wear a bright lip! Mac Make-up Giveaway!

With winter coming to an end, and Spring 2014 just around the corner, the makeup trends are quickly changing from dark chic looks, to bright, clean ones.

One of the biggest surprises this season in makeup, is the recurring looks between fashion houses.

Orange Lips have made the biggest debut, being shown on John Galliano, Prabal Gurung, and DKNY to name a few.

The best way to wear the bright hue on your lips is to pick the right shade;

à For fair skin, choose a shade that has a tinge of coral or one with an undertone of pink (N40 Pastel Coral by Makeup Forever $23 )

 à For Medium to Olive skin, choose oranges with undertones of red. (Morange, by Mac Makeup $18)

à For Dark skin, choose darker, rich oranges with either red or pink undertones. (So Chaud, by Mac Makeup $18)

The key to pulling off orange lips, is keeping the rest of the makeup minimal.

1.    Apply a moisturizing sheer foundation

2.    Concealer Underneath the eyes, or tone corrector if it is required

3.    Nude Lip liner

4.    Use blush lightly

5.    Highlight your cheekbones

6.    Add a few coats of mascara.

7.   Eyeliner (if you absolutely need it)
